Holy shit in a hand basket.

I'm never putting something off this big till the night before ever again. (Though I probably will)

This is a set of character sheets that Mark requested. He made a steampunk "Call of Cthulhu" campaign and asked me to do them for him all pretty. Yeah well, we only really sat down and worked on the details on Sunday, when... he needed it by Tuesday. 8D So I thumbnailed the pages, took notes, and started digital work on them last night.

If you'll notice, the pages run together. I basically did all four pages at once on a huuuge file. The final PSD is 307MB with 82 layers! It's insane.

I had fun though, and really like how it came out... hope you like it too!

Oh, if you click Download, you get a .zip file with the individual pages at their full size for printing. :3

I would love to see one of these filled out, also to see how the last page works. I'm playing regular Call of Cthulhu set in the 1940s. But I would love to use a character sheet like this especially with the last page stats. Do you know how he's working those?

Great work, love it.

Lucky you, I'm at my fiance's so he can explain this to me!

For the Appearance and Emotional Gears, you put a single dot where your character is placed.

For psychology (Consciousness/Emotional Barrier/Hope/Patience), the player is given 10 dots total to distribute among the traits. This doesn't serve in game mechanics, per se, but it can flesh out a character. Or, if the DM wants, these stats can buff mythos fright checks where applicable.

Stress is filled throughout the game. The DM adds stress in light of sleep deprivation, hunger, thirst, or every day stress. It can be taken off if the character performs a vice, relaxing activity, or if they remove themself from a stressful situation. Each box has 5% penalty to all actions except mythos lore.

The player is given 50 dots to fill in the vices and virtues. It's not a game mechanic, but can help the player or DM decide what a character would or would not do.

Phobias are just the mental handicaps that the players suffer from~

He said he plans to post a full rule update for the base game when he finishes his steampunk version. I can let you know when he does that. :)

If you're going to use these sheets, you're more than welcome! But, the gears on the first page (for the stats) have proven to be hard to write on and see, so I can give you a version with them lightened or you can do it yourself~

Cool and Thanks, I'll be sure when I get around to doing
the sheet for my character to post it up here and link to you.

This is so interesting to me. It'll be great to see it. It'll
be fun to judge what my characters virtues, vices, and such
are. Already know she's a bit wrathful from playing thus far in
the campaign.

Sounds good!

Yeah, I love doing things like that with my characters, even if it's not for a game, haha! Hope you have fun with this and your game. :)

As a Call of Cthulhu RPG GM, I must say... This. Is. Absolutely. Beautiful. And even if you are not running a steampunk campaign, it still will make a beautiful and useful character sheet. Thank you!

Nah, thank you~! I'm really glad you like it! 8D Feel free to use if you want, though it'll probably take a lot of ink, unfortunately. |D; I'm just happy that those who run the actual rpg like it and would find it useful~
